Lots of things have caught my eye on Pinterest this week. Some of them have been photography related, some of them have just been tasty food related. Clearly, my mind is in holiday food mode…I show you why in a sec.
First up though, this picture above. Images of people holding pans or trays or plates are not uncommon. Sometimes they’re stunning, sometimes they’re just alright. The ones that never fail to catch my eye are the ones that are lit so perfectly. Like this one. Where does a girl have to live to get light like that in her kitchen?
Powdered sugar falling from above is always a wonderful thing, right? Like watching snow fall without all the cold and the shoveling of walks and driveways. This image looks like holiday baking to me. If only my kitchen looked like this whilst doing my Christmas baking. It would be so much more peaceful as opposed to the sink full of dishes and countertops loaded with packages of ingredients and sprinkles spilled everywhere. Let’s pretend this kitchen is a mess, too…shall we?
Can you even imagine having Thanksgiving dinner here? I mean, seriously…what a dream.
I also pinned some gorgeous winter portrait ideas, in hope that someone will want to have one of these sessions once the snow starts falling. I love this image. While the wintery halo may not be for everyone, even without it, this would still be a gorgeous photo filled with brightness and texture…and her eyes! Love.
And now, let’s talk about the FOOD pins that have caught my eye this week…
Creamy Pumpkin Prosciutto Rigatoni. Yes, please. I’ll have lots, thanks. Probably not something that my healthy eating habits will appreciate, but it’s the holidays, and the occasional splurge is warranted.
Pumpkin French Toast Bake. Imagine waking up to this on a chilly fall morning!
Yeasted Pumpkin Waffles with Candied Ginger. Because, if I must……
