I’m so excited to share that once again, I’m working with International Delight on some really fun upcoming projects. You’ll be seeing me post about them from time to time for the rest of the year! I’ll be sharing some great recipes and some fun new things that are happening with the good people at International Delight. It’s going to be fun and I’m excited to have you all along for the ride with me!
For my very first post of this campaign, I’m sharing a recipe for a Chocolate Caramel Hot Fudge Topping that will be the perfect accompaniment to your ice cream sundaes this summer. It’s rich, chocolatey, and sweet without being too, too sweet. You’re going to love it. In fact, if I had a time machine, (Hello, Doctor??) I’d jump in it right now and give you this recipe last week so that you could use it for your Memorial Day entertaining.
But, since I can’t let’s just use it for your summer entertaining going forward, shall we?
I got this recipe from my sweet friend, Melissa of Melissa Creates. She shared this recipe on her page a while ago because she looooves her International Delight, and was kind enough to let me share it here as well. If you like a little heat with your chocolate, check out what she did on her site here.
The recipe is simple and only takes a couple of minutes to throw together. You’ll be serving your family or friends fresh hot fudge sauce in no time at all!
Chocolate Caramel Hot Fudge Topping
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup International Delight creamer (I used Hershey Chocolate Caramel)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine International Delight creamer, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and corn syrup.
- Bring to a boil and allow to boil for 30 seconds.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and add the chocolate chips and butter.
- Stir until smooth.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes so it doesn’t melt your ice cream right away and serve.
- Refrigerate any unused hot fudge and microwave slowly to reheat.
- Enjoy!
Now, before you take off to make your hot fudge sauce, check out the new packaging from International Delight. I’m a sucker for packaging changes. You know that time when the grocery store has some of the old packaging and some of the new, that short transition time? This girl always has to make sure she gets the newest design. That’s just what I do…enjoy the little things, friends.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of International Delight. The opinions and text are all mine.
