Happy Monday, all. Are you recovered from your Halloween candy hangovers yet? I’m not. I still have to walk by that candy bowl several times a day and listen to it taunting me. I can be strong against some things. Whoppers, Milky Way, and anything without chocolate doesn’t phase me. But those Butterfingers, and those Twix bars, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups…they’ll get me every.single.time. So, I did a lot of meal prep yesterday and am hoping that some healthy eating will make it easy for me to avoid temptation. I’m not optimistic, but at least I’m armed with a little healthy ammunition.
Today, I thought we’d chat about a few variations of whipped cream that you might want to try this holiday season. Some of them will be perfect for topping your pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving, others are better suited to some of those Christmas desserts that will be heading our way soon. Which one sounds best to you?
Cinnamon Maple Whipped Cream: My brother-in-law always puts maple syrup on his pumpkin pie, so I have to believe this would be a good alternative, too.
Hot Chocolate Whipped Cream: Just put it on anything, I’m sure it’ll be delightful.
Eggnog Whipped Cream: I’m not the world’s biggest eggnog fan, but this I could definitely handle.
Peppermint Mocha Whipped Cream: There’s no arguing with this flavor choice. None at all.
And a few other choices…
Bailey’s Chocolate Whipped Cream
These 7 whipped cream flavors for the holidays should certainly add a bit more interest to the typical whipped cream we all find ourselves making time and time again during the holidays!
